Rachel Weant

I was raised locally in Collin County, calling Princeton, Texas home. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Stephen F. Austin State University. In 2011 upon graduation, I moved back to the North Texas area and I met my husband, Kevin. We married in 2013 and moved to McKinney in 2015. We have loved putting down roots in this community! In 2020, my husband and I welcomed our son, Stefan into our lives and there has not been a boring moment since!

Before beginning at Murray, Mensch & Brooks P.C., I spent the first 10 years of my career in private accounting working as a Staff Accountant for a wide range of organizations in healthcare, software, logistics and non-profit. I enjoy the detail-oriented nature of the accounting cycle and easing the burden on a business owner to handle their financials; therefore, freeing them up to focus on their business.

When I am not at work you will most likely find me crocheting stuffed animals, knitting, planning our next Disney vacation or building Lego sets with my son.
