I made the decision to pursue a tax accounting degree in high school after I had the opportunity to work part-time for a locally owned accounting firm in Houston, TX.  After receiving my BBA in Accounting and MTax from Baylor University, I joined PKF Texas, P.C. in Houston where I worked for 10 years.  I had the privilege of serving many clients with complex tax issues that helped build my tax knowledge base.   I especially enjoy seeing the “full picture” of how a small business tax return can flow to the owner’s tax return and working with clients to strategize accordingly.

My family moved to McKinney in May 2021, though I continued to work for PKF Texas remotely.  When the opportunity arose to serve McKinney and Collin County with Murray & Mensch, I jumped at the chance.  We have family with deep roots in the community and have loved making McKinney our home over the last couple of years.  We plan to be in McKinney long term, and I’m looking forward to building on the legacy of Murray & Mensch for years to come.

Some interests and hobbies include golf, spending time with family and friends, working out, and watching sports.  My family and I are active members at Cadence Church in Frisco.  We joined the church plant in its second week and have been members ever since!
