Richard K. Davis, CPA

I was born in Selangor, Malaysia, but grew up in Slidell, LA, and Houston, TX, which has given me a unique blend of cultural and financial perspectives. I earned my BBA and MSA from the University of Houston, laying the foundation for my career in accounting and tax strategy.

My journey began in public accounting, where I built a strong understanding of tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. After a few years, I transitioned to the entertainment industry, focusing on business management. This experience broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of the financial challenges and needs faced by individuals and businesses in the creative sector.

Now, as a member of Murray, Mensch & Brooks, P.C., I’m excited to continue helping clients navigate the often-complex world of taxes. I’m passionate about offering personalized advice that helps businesses thrive while ensuring they meet their tax obligations with ease.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling, enjoying a good game of pickleball or golf, or spending time with family and friends.
