Karen Helms, CPA

I am the product of the military lifestyle and spent the first 18 years of my life in various locations throughout the world.

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1974, married Jerry in 1977, and raised three daughters in McKinney. I now have an expanded family of three great sons-in-law and eight grandchildren. They keep me on my toes!

My husband and I are active in First United Methodist Church where I serve as a facilitator/teacher in various Bible studies and serve on the Sunday morning welcoming team.

I enjoy my workdays, meeting and getting to know our clients, and advising them with respect to their tax issues. Since I have been associated with Murray & Mensch, P.C. over 25 years, many clients I call friends as well.
